Reception Class Teacher (part time)

We are currently recruiting for a qualified Reception Class Teacher to join a well established team at a local infant school in Southampton from Sept 2024

Responsibilities for the role of Reception Class Teacher:

• You will be responsible for the educational, social and emotional development of children aged 4-5 years old, with full planning and teaching responsibilities

• Assess, record and report on development, progress and attainment for every pupil in the class

• To provide high quality teaching and learning within the EYFS curriculum; stimulating the pupils learning abilities

• Promote independence, self-esteem and social inclusion for children in the classroom

• Working as part of a team, under the supportive leadership of the school's SLT

  
  

Requirements for the role of Reception Class Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• DBS Enhanced Disclosure, or willing to carry out a new application

• A minimum of two previous employment references will be required

• A passion for primary school education and maintaining standards

• To establish appropriate relationships with young people and other professionals

• Be reliable, enthusiastic, creative and honest

• ECTs are welcomed to apply
