We are currently recruiting for a qualified Reception Class Teacher to join a well established team at a local infant school in Southampton from Sept 2024
Responsibilities for the role of Reception Class Teacher:
You will be responsible for the educational, social and emotional development of children aged 4-5 years old, with full planning and teaching responsibilities
Assess, record and report on development, progress and attainment for every pupil in the class
To provide high quality teaching and learning within the EYFS curriculum; stimulating the pupils learning abilities
Promote independence, self-esteem and social inclusion for children in the classroom
Working as part of a team, under the supportive leadership of the school's SLT
Requirements for the role of Reception Class Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
DBS Enhanced Disclosure, or willing to carry out a new application
A minimum of two previous employment references will be required
A passion for primary school education and maintaining standards
To establish appropriate relationships with young people and other professionals
Be reliable, enthusiastic, creative and honest
